Point Judith, Rhode Island

Posted by
Donna (Wakefield, Walnut Hill, United States) on 1 October 2012 in Landscape & Rural.

I've gone back to Rhode Island to teach for the Fall semester.

When I interviewed for my current job in 1996, I was given a brief tour of southern Rhode Island. Point Judith was one of the stops. It became my favorite spot in Rhode Island. When I got my first digital SLR, Point Judith was the first place I went to take photos. When I return to Rhode Island after being away for a while, I go to Point Judith.

Nice focus on the foreground without it become abstract, just the right aperture.

I like your framing of the lighthouse with the rocks and beach grass. I can see why this area is your favorite. I hope you have a good semester.

Interesting framing. A real study in foreground, middleground and background.
