Microenvironment, Black Moshannon Bog

Posted by
Donna M Hughes (Port Matilda, Pennsylvania, United States) on 26 December 2014 in Plant & Nature.

The title of this image recalls how my friend Bud referred to a little island ecosystem in a previous image.

Another image from Black Moshannon State Park. As I'm posting these images, I'm getting eager to go back and get more winter photos when the park is empty.

A fine photo of this remarkable, tiny island. I like how the grass and rocks all point upward. Nice one, Donna.
